To ensure comprehensive and relevant disclosure, industries are encouraged to align their reports with specific sectors as outlined in ‘Appendix E’. This alignment is crucial for maintaining consistency, relevance, and comparability across different industries, especially when measuring and communicating their benefits and opportunities with Indigenous communities.

Aligning with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Sectors

‘Appendix E’ mirrors the sectors identified by the GRI, ensuring that the Pehta Framework stays in sync with globally recognized standards. This approach facilitates a more nuanced understanding of industry-specific impacts and enables better comparison and assessment of reports.
