4.2 Scope

The scope of the ‘Indigenous Community Employment - Indirect’ under the Pehta Framework is specifically focused on:

Businesses within the Contiguous Supply Chain: This includes all businesses and entities that are part of the supply chain of industry. These businesses are expected to align their Indigenous community employment practices with the standards set by the ‘Indigenous Community Employment - Direct’ disclosure topic.

Vendors and Suppliers Seeking Business with Industry: These are entities that are not currently in the supply chain but are aspiring to do business with industry. They are encouraged to prepare and align their Indigenous community employment data in accordance with the expectations and standards of the ‘Indigenous Community Employment - Direct’ disclosure topic.
