2.4.1.2.1 Eligibility Criteria

For Indigenous Communities (First Nations, Métis, and Inuit): Feedback can be provided by either traditionally elected and hereditary leaders, as well as other individuals who have been granted authority by their communities to represent them.

Additionally, it is imperative that these leaders possess direct knowledge of industry’s relationship with their community for the relevant time period. This criterion ensures that the feedback is grounded in firsthand experience and understanding of the specific interactions and benefits between the industry and the community. It underscores the importance of informed and contextually relevant insights in assessing the industry's contributions and effects on Indigenous communities.
